THE SOUR GRAPES

A fox was roaming around the countryside. He happened to pass through a vineyard. On seeing the lush grapes his mouth watered.

First he lifted his head and stretched out. He could not reach the grapes. He felt the grapes to be higher.

Then he stood on his hind legs and stretch. Again, he could not reach them.

Finally, he jumped up and jumped up. Even then, he could not reach them.

The grapes were too high to reach. The fox was too tired to try again, So, he left the place murmuring, "The grapes are sour. Who would eat sour grapes?".
